ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਿਸ ਦਾ ਤਿਸੈ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
Jeeo Pindd Sabh This Dhaa Thisai Dhaa Aadhhaar ||
जीउ पिंडु सभु तिस दा तिसै दा आधारु ॥
Body and soul all belong to Him; He is the Support of all.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਬੁਝੀਐ ਤਾ ਪਾਏ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥
Gur Parasaadhee Bujheeai Thaa Paaeae Mokh Dhuaar ||
गुर परसादी बुझीऐ ता पाए मोख दुआरु ॥
By Guru’s Grace, understanding comes, and then the Door of Liberation is found.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰੁ ॥੪॥੨੪॥੫੭॥
Naanak Naam Salaahi Thoon Anth N Paaraavaar ||4||24||57||
नानक नामु सलाहि तूं अंतु न पारावारु ॥४॥२४॥५७॥
O Nanak, sing the Praises of the Naam, the Name of the Lord; He has no end or limitation. ||4||24||57||

ਹਉਮੈ ਸਭਾ ਗਣਤ ਹੈ ਗਣਤੈ ਨਉ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
Houmai Sabhaa Ganath Hai Ganathai No Sukh Naahi ||
हउमै सभा गणत है गणतै नउ सुखु नाहि ॥
In egotism, all must account for their actions. In this accounting, there is no peace.

ਬਿਖੁ ਕੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵਣੀ ਬਿਖੁ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥
Bikh Kee Kaar Kamaavanee Bikh Hee Maahi Samaahi ||
बिखु की कार कमावणी बिखु ही माहि समाहि ॥
Acting in evil and corruption, people are immersed in corruption.

ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਠਉਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਨੀ ਜਮਪੁਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਸਹਾਹਿ ॥੩॥
Bin Naavai Thour N Paaeinee Jamapur Dhookh Sehaahi ||3||
बिनु नावै ठउरु न पाइनी जमपुरि दूख सहाहि ॥३॥
Without the Name, they find no place of rest. In the City of Death, they suffer in agony. ||3||

ਹਰਿ ਇਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
Har Eiko Dhaathaa Varathadhaa Dhoojaa Avar N Koe ||
हरि इको दाता वरतदा दूजा अवरु न कोइ ॥
The One Lord alone is the Giver, pervading everywhere. There is no other at all.

ਸਬਦਿ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Sabadh Saalaahee Man Vasai Sehajae Hee Sukh Hoe ||
सबदि सालाही मनि वसै सहजे ही सुखु होइ ॥
Praise the Word of the Shabad, and He shall come to dwell in your mind; you shall be blessed with intuitive peace and poise.

ਸਭ ਨਦਰੀ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਜੈ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੈ ਦੇਇ ॥੨॥
Sabh Nadharee Andhar Vaekhadhaa Jai Bhaavai Thai Dhaee ||2||
सभ नदरी अंदरि वेखदा जै भावै तै देइ ॥२॥
Everything is within the Lord’s Glance of Grace. As He wishes, He gives. ||2||

ਮਨ ਰੇ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਾਸਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
Man Rae Nij Ghar Vaasaa Hoe ||
मन रे निज घरि वासा होइ ॥
O mind, dwell in the balanced state of your own inner being.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਾਲਾਹਿ ਤੂ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Raam Naam Saalaahi Thoo Fir Aavan Jaan N Hoe ||1|| Rehaao ||
राम नामु सालाहि तू फिरि आवण जाणु न होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Praise the Lord’s Name, and you shall no longer come and go in reincarnation. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਾਮੇ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
Gur Parasaadhee Man Vasai Naamae Rehai Samaae ||
गुर परसादी मनि वसै नामे रहै समाइ ॥
By Guru’s Grace, He dwells in the mind, and one remains immersed in His Name.

ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਬਦੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
Gur Sabadhee Har Paaeeai Bin Sabadhai Bharam Bhulaae ||1||
गुर सबदी हरि पाईऐ बिनु सबदै भरमि भुलाइ ॥१॥
Through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, the Lord is found; without the Shabad, people wander, deceived by doubt. ||1||

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਰੋਗੁ ਨ ਤੁਟਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਪੀੜ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
Bin Gur Rog N Thuttee Houmai Peerr N Jaae ||
बिनु गुर रोगु न तुटई हउमै पीड़ न जाइ ॥
Without the Guru, the disease is not cured, and the pain of egotism is not removed.
