ਹੰ ਭੀ ਵੰਞਾ ਡੁਮਣੀ ਰੋਵਾ ਝੀਣੀ ਬਾਣਿ ॥੨॥
Han Bhee Vannjaa Ddumanee Rovaa Jheenee Baan ||2||
हं भी वंञा डुमणी रोवा झीणी बाणि ॥२॥
In my double-mindedness, I shall have to go as well. I cry in a feeble voice. ||2||

ਕੀ ਨ ਸੁਣੇਹੀ ਗੋਰੀਏ ਆਪਣ ਕੰਨੀ ਸੋਇ ॥
Kee N Sunaehee Goreeeae Aapan Kannee Soe ||
की न सुणेही गोरीए आपण कंनी सोइ ॥
Haven’t you heard the call from beyond, O beautiful soul-bride?

ਦਿਨ ਥੋੜੜੇ ਥਕੇ ਭਇਆ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਚੋਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Dhin Thhorrarrae Thhakae Bhaeiaa Puraanaa Cholaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
दिन थोड़ड़े थके भइआ पुराणा चोला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
But your days are few-you have grown weary, and now your body has grown old. ||1||Pause||

ਸਜਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਰੰਗੁਲੇ ਜਾਇ ਸੁਤੇ ਜੀਰਾਣਿ ॥
Sajan Maerae Rangulae Jaae Suthae Jeeraan ||
सजण मेरे रंगुले जाइ सुते जीराणि ॥
My playful friends have gone to sleep in the graveyard.

ਪਬਣਿ ਕੇਰੇ ਪਤ ਜਿਉ ਢਲਿ ਢੁਲਿ ਜੁੰਮਣਹਾਰ ॥੧॥
Paban Kaerae Path Jio Dtal Dtul Junmanehaar ||1||
पबणि केरे पत जिउ ढलि ढुलि जुमणहार ॥१॥
Like the leaves of the water-lily, they wither and fade and finally die. ||1||

ਰੰਗੁ ਮਾਣਿ ਲੈ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਨਉ ਹੁਲਾ ॥
Rang Maan Lai Piaariaa Jaa Joban No Hulaa ||
रंगु माणि लै पिआरिआ जा जोबनु नउ हुला ॥
Be happy, dear beloved, as long as your youth is fresh and delightful.

सिरीरागु महला १ घरु २ ॥
Siree Raag, First Mehl, Second House:

ਧਨੁ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਅਰੁ ਫੁਲੜਾ ਨਾਠੀਅੜੇ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਰਿ ॥
Dhhan Joban Ar Fularraa Naatheearrae Dhin Chaar ||
धनु जोबनु अरु फुलड़ा नाठीअड़े दिन चारि ॥
Wealth, the beauty of youth and flowers are guests for only a few days.

ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨੁ ਸਮਝਾਈਐ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਾਲਾਹ ॥
Naanak Man Samajhaaeeai Gur Kai Sabadh Saalaah ||
नानक मनु समझाईऐ गुर कै सबदि सालाह ॥
O Nanak, instruct your mind through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, and praise the Lord.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤਿਆ ਭਾਰੁ ਨ ਭਰਮੁ ਤਿਨਾਹ ॥
Raam Naam Rang Rathiaa Bhaar N Bharam Thinaah ||
राम नाम रंगि रतिआ भारु न भरमु तिनाह ॥
Those who are imbued with the love of the Name of the Lord are not loaded down by doubt.

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਲਾਹਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹਰਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਹ ॥੪॥੨੩॥
Har Jap Laahaa Agalaa Nirabho Har Man Maah ||4||23||
हरि जपि लाहा अगला निरभउ हरि मन माह ॥४॥२३॥
Those who chant the Name of the Lord earn great profits; the Fearless Lord abides within their minds. ||4||23||

ਖੋਟੇ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਪਤਿ ਹੈ ਖੋਟਿ ਨ ਸੀਝਸਿ ਕੋਇ ॥
Khottae Jaath N Path Hai Khott N Seejhas Koe ||
खोटे जाति न पति है खोटि न सीझसि कोइ ॥
The false ones have no social status or honor. No one succeeds through falsehood.

ਖੋਟੇ ਖੋਟੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਆਇ ਗਇਆ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਇ ॥੩॥
Khottae Khott Kamaavanaa Aae Gaeiaa Path Khoe ||3||
खोटे खोटु कमावणा आइ गइआ पति खोइ ॥३॥
Practicing falsehood again and again, people come and go in reincarnation, and forfeit their honor. ||3||
