ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਣਾ ਸੁ ਕਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਇ ॥
Jo Kishh Karanaa S Kar Rehiaa Avar N Karanaa Jaae ||
जो किछु करणा सु करि रहिआ अवरु न करणा जाइ ॥
Whatever is to be done, the Lord is doing. No one else can do anything.

ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨੇ ਮੇਲਿਅਨੁ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਪੰਨੈ ਪਾਇ ॥
Chiree Vishhunnae Maelian Sathagur Pannai Paae ||
चिरी विछुंने मेलिअनु सतगुर पंनै पाइ ॥
Those separated from Him for so long are reunited with Him once again by the True Guru, who takes them into His Own Account.

ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਾਇਸੀ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਇ ॥੩॥
Aapae Kaar Karaaeisee Avar N Karanaa Jaae ||3||
आपे कार कराइसी अवरु न करणा जाइ ॥३॥
He Himself assigns all to their tasks; nothing else can be done. ||3||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਆਪੇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਆਇ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Ghar Aaeiaa Aapae Miliaa Aae ||
करि किरपा घरि आइआ आपे मिलिआ आइ ॥
By His Grace, He has come into my home; He Himself has come to meet me.

ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ ਰੰਗੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥
Gur Sabadhee Saalaaheeai Rangae Sehaj Subhaae ||
गुर सबदी सालाहीऐ रंगे सहजि सुभाइ ॥
Singing His Praises through the Shabads of the Guru, we are dyed in His Color with intuitive ease.

ਸਚੈ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹੈ ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਜਾਇ ॥੨॥
Sachai Sach Samaaeiaa Mil Rehai N Vishhurr Jaae ||2||
सचै सचि समाइआ मिलि रहै न विछुड़ि जाइ ॥२॥
Becoming truthful, we merge with the True One; remaining blended with Him, we shall never be separated again. ||2||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਗੁਰ ਮੁਖਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
Maerae Man Gur Mukh Dhhiaae Har Soe ||
मेरे मन गुर मुखि धिआइ हरि सोइ ॥
O my mind, become Gurmukh, and meditate on the Lord.

ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gur Kaa Sabadh Man Vasai Man Than Niramal Hoe ||1|| Rehaao ||
गुर का सबदु मनि वसै मनु तनु निरमलु होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
The Word of the Guru’s Shabad abides within the mind, and the body and mind become pure. ||1||Pause||

सिरीरागु महला ३ ॥
Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਧਨੁ ਜਨਨੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਾਇਆ ਧੰਨੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ॥
Dhhan Jananee Jin Jaaeiaa Dhhann Pithaa Paradhhaan ||
धनु जननी जिनि जाइआ धंनु पिता परधानु ॥
Blessed is the mother who gave birth; blessed and respected is the father of one who serves the True Guru and finds peace.

ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਗਇਆ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥
Sathagur Saev Sukh Paaeiaa Vichahu Gaeiaa Gumaan ||
सतगुरु सेवि सुखु पाइआ विचहु गइआ गुमानु ॥
His arrogant pride is banished from within.

ਦਰਿ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਖੜੇ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
Dhar Saevan Santh Jan Kharrae Paaein Gunee Nidhhaan ||1||
दरि सेवनि संत जन खड़े पाइनि गुणी निधानु ॥१॥
Standing at the Lord’s Door, the humble Saints serve Him; they find the Treasure of Excellence. ||1||

ਆਪਣੈ ਮਨਿ ਚਿਤਿ ਕਹੈ ਕਹਾਏ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਆਪੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
Aapanai Man Chith Kehai Kehaaeae Bin Gur Aap N Jaaee ||
आपणै मनि चिति कहै कहाए बिनु गुर आपु न जाई ॥
Within your conscious mind, you may say anything, but without the Guru, selfishness is not removed.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਦਾਤਾ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਹੈ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ॥
Har Jeeo Dhaathaa Bhagath Vashhal Hai Kar Kirapaa Mann Vasaaee ||
हरि जीउ दाता भगति वछलु है करि किरपा मंनि वसाई ॥
The Dear Lord is the Giver, the Lover of His devotees. By His Grace, He comes to dwell in the mind.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋਭਾ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਦੇਇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੪॥੧੫॥੪੮॥
Naanak Sobhaa Surath Dhaee Prabh Aapae Guramukh Dhae Vaddiaaee ||4||15||48||
नानक सोभा सुरति देइ प्रभु आपे गुरमुखि दे वडिआई ॥४॥१५॥४८॥
O Nanak, by His Grace, He bestows enlightened awareness; God Himself blesses the Gurmukh with glorious greatness. ||4||15||48||

ਦੇਖਿ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਲੋਭਾਣਾ ਚਲਦਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
Dhaekh Kuttanb Mohi Lobhaanaa Chaladhiaa Naal N Jaaee ||
देखि कुट्मबु मोहि लोभाणा चलदिआ नालि न जाई ॥
Gazing upon their families, people are lured and trapped by emotional attachment, but none will go along with them in the end.

ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੀਮ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥
Sathagur Saev Gun Nidhhaan Paaeiaa This Dhee Keem N Paaee ||
सतगुरु सेवि गुण निधानु पाइआ तिस दी कीम न पाई ॥
Serving the True Guru, one finds the Lord, the Treasure of Excellence. His Value cannot be estimated.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਖਾ ਮੀਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਤੇ ਹੋਇ ਸਖਾਈ ॥੩॥
Har Prabh Sakhaa Meeth Prabh Maeraa Anthae Hoe Sakhaaee ||3||
हरि प्रभु सखा मीतु प्रभु मेरा अंते होइ सखाई ॥३॥
The Lord God is my Friend and Companion. God shall be my Helper and Support in the end. ||3||
