ਜਿਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ਸੋਈ ਸਾਰ ਕਰੇਇ ॥
Jin Kar Kaaran Dhhaariaa Soee Saar Karaee ||
जिनि करि कारणु धारिआ सोई सार करेइ ॥
Having created the creation, He supports it and takes care of it.

ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਣੀਐ ਜਾ ਆਪੇ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥
Gur Kai Sabadh Pashhaaneeai Jaa Aapae Nadhar Karaee ||
गुर कै सबदि पछाणीऐ जा आपे नदरि करेइ ॥
The Word of the Guru’s Shabad is realized, when He Himself bestows His Glance of Grace.

ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮੰਨਿ ਲੈ ਰਜਾਇ ॥
Man Maerae Gur Kee Mann Lai Rajaae ||
मन मेरे गुर की मंनि लै रजाइ ॥
O my mind, surrender to the Guru’s Will.

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਸਭੁ ਥੀਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Man Than Seethal Sabh Thheeai Naam Vasai Man Aae ||1|| Rehaao ||
मनु तनु सीतलु सभु थीऐ नामु वसै मनि आइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Mind and body are totally cooled and soothed, and the Naam comes to dwell in the mind. ||1||Pause||

ਆਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਇ ਬੁਝਾਇ ॥
Aapae Prabhoo Dhaeiaal Hai Aapae Dhaee Bujhaae ||
आपे प्रभू दइआलु है आपे देइ बुझाइ ॥
God Himself is Merciful; He Himself bestows understanding.

ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਸਦ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਚਿ ਰਹੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
Guramathee Sadh Man Vasiaa Sach Rehae Liv Laae ||1||
गुरमती सद मनि वसिआ सचि रहे लिव लाइ ॥१॥
Through the Guru’s Teachings, the True One dwells forever in the mind of those who remain lovingly attached to Him. ||1||

सिरीरागु महला ३ ॥
Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਇ ॥
Aapae Kaaran Karathaa Karae Srisatt Dhaekhai Aap Oupaae ||
आपे कारणु करता करे स्रिसटि देखै आपि उपाइ ॥
The Creator Himself created the Creation; He produced the Universe, and He Himself watches over it.

ਸਭ ਏਕੋ ਇਕੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਲਖਿਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
Sabh Eaeko Eik Varathadhaa Alakh N Lakhiaa Jaae ||
सभ एको इकु वरतदा अलखु न लखिआ जाइ ॥
The One and Only Lord is pervading and permeating all. The Unseen cannot be seen.

ਸਚੁ ਖਟਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਹੈ ਸਚੇ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥
Sach Khattanaa Sach Raas Hai Sachae Sachee Soe ||
सचु खटणा सचु रासि है सचे सची सोइ ॥
Earning Truth, and accumulating the Wealth of Truth, the truthful person gains a reputation of Truth.

ਸਚਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੇ ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜਹਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੨੬॥੫੯॥
Sach Milae Sae N Vishhurrehi Naanak Guramukh Hoe ||4||26||59||
सचि मिले से न विछुड़हि नानक गुरमुखि होइ ॥४॥२६॥५९॥
Meeting with the True One, O Nanak, the Gurmukh shall not be separated from Him again. ||4||26||59||

ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਘਣੇਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਥਕੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਾਟੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
Mithr Ghanaerae Kar Thhakee Maeraa Dhukh Kaattai Koe ||
मित्र घणेरे करि थकी मेरा दुखु काटै कोइ ॥
I have grown weary of making so many friends, hoping that someone might be able to end my suffering.

ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਟਿਆ ਸਬਦਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
Mil Preetham Dhukh Kattiaa Sabadh Milaavaa Hoe ||
मिलि प्रीतम दुखु कटिआ सबदि मिलावा होइ ॥
Meeting with my Beloved, my suffering has ended; I have attained Union with the Word of the Shabad.
