ਮਨਮੁਖ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਪਤਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
Manamukh Naam N Jaananee Vin Naavai Path Jaae ||
मनमुख नामु न जाणनी विणु नावै पति जाइ ॥
The self-willed manmukhs do not know the Naam. Without the Name, they lose their honor.

ਸਬਦੈ ਸਾਦੁ ਨ ਆਇਓ ਲਾਗੇ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥
Sabadhai Saadh N Aaeiou Laagae Dhoojai Bhaae ||
सबदै सादु न आइओ लागे दूजै भाइ ॥
They do not savor the Taste of the Shabad; they are attached to the love of duality.

ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
Bhaaee Rae Guramukh Sadhaa Path Hoe ||
भाई रे गुरमुखि सदा पति होइ ॥
O Siblings of Destiny, the Gurmukhs are honored forever.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਮਲੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਢੈ ਧੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Har Sadhaa Dhhiaaeeai Mal Houmai Kadtai Dhhoe ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि हरि सदा धिआईऐ मलु हउमै कढै धोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
They meditate forever on the Lord, Har, Har, and they wash off the filth of egotism. ||1||Pause||

ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਸਦ ਉਜਲੇ ਤਿਤੁ ਸਚੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥
Thin Kae Mukh Sadh Oujalae Thith Sachai Dharabaar ||
तिन के मुख सद उजले तितु सचै दरबारि ॥
-their faces are forever radiant in the Court of the True Lord.

ਓਇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵਹਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥੧॥
Oue Anmrith Peevehi Sadhaa Sadhaa Sachai Naam Piaar ||1||
ओइ अम्रितु पीवहि सदा सदा सचै नामि पिआरि ॥१॥
They drink in the Ambrosial Nectar forever and ever, and they love the True Name. ||1||

ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
Jinee Eik Man Naam Dhhiaaeiaa Guramathee Veechaar ||
जिनी इक मनि नामु धिआइआ गुरमती वीचारि ॥
Those who meditate single-mindedly on the Naam, and contemplate the Teachings of the Guru

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਤ ਪੜਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
Har Gun Gaavehi Har Nith Parrehi Har Gun Gaae Samaae ||
हरि गुण गावहि हरि नित पड़हि हरि गुण गाइ समाइ ॥
They sing the Glorious Praise of the Lord; they read about the Lord each day. Singing the Praise of the Lord, they merge in absorption.

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੁ ਹੈ ਜਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੫॥੪॥੩੭॥
Naanak Thin Kee Baanee Sadhaa Sach Hai J Naam Rehae Liv Laae ||5||4||37||
नानक तिन की बाणी सदा सचु है जि नामि रहे लिव लाइ ॥५॥४॥३७॥
O Nanak, the words of those who are lovingly attuned to the Naam are true forever. ||5||4||37||

ਦੇਖਾ ਦੇਖੀ ਸਭ ਕਰੇ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਬੂਝ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥
Dhaekhaa Dhaekhee Sabh Karae Manamukh Boojh N Paae ||
देखा देखी सभ करे मनमुखि बूझ न पाइ ॥
They all show off and pretend, but the self-willed manmukhs do not understand.

ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੈ ਸੇਵ ਪਈ ਤਿਨ ਥਾਇ ॥
Jin Guramukh Hiradhaa Sudhh Hai Saev Pee Thin Thhaae ||
जिन गुरमुखि हिरदा सुधु है सेव पई तिन थाइ ॥
Those Gurmukhs who are pure of heart-their service is accepted.
