ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸ ਕਰੇਇ ॥
Sabhanaa Kaa Dhaathaa Eaek Hai Aapae Bakhas Karaee ||
सभना का दाता एकु है आपे बखस करेइ ॥
The One Lord is the Giver of all; He Himself bestows all blessings.

ਕਹਣਾ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਵਈ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਇ ॥
Kehanaa Kishhoo N Jaavee Jis Bhaavai This Dhaee ||
कहणा किछू न जावई जिसु भावै तिसु देइ ॥
No one else has any say in this; He gives just as He pleases.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੪॥੯॥੪੨॥
Naanak Guramukh Paaeeai Aapae Jaanai Soe ||4||9||42||
नानक गुरमुखि पाईऐ आपे जाणै सोइ ॥४॥९॥४२॥
O Nanak, the Gurmukhs obtain Him; He Himself knows Himself. ||4||9||42||

ਸਤਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੁਹ ਫੇਰਹਿ ਮਥੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਾਲੇ ॥
Sathagur Thae Jo Muh Faerehi Mathhae Thin Kaalae ||
सतगुर ते जो मुह फेरहि मथे तिन काले ॥
Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru shall have their faces blackened.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਦੁਖ ਕਮਾਵਦੇ ਨਿਤ ਜੋਹੇ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੇ ॥
Anadhin Dhukh Kamaavadhae Nith Johae Jam Jaalae ||
अनदिनु दुख कमावदे नित जोहे जम जाले ॥
Night and day, they suffer in pain; they see the noose of Death always hovering above them.

ਸੁਪਨੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਨ ਦੇਖਨੀ ਬਹੁ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪਰਜਾਲੇ ॥੩॥
Supanai Sukh N Dhaekhanee Bahu Chinthaa Parajaalae ||3||
सुपनै सुखु न देखनी बहु चिंता परजाले ॥३॥
Even in their dreams, they find no peace; they are consumed by the fires of intense anxiety. ||3||

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
Guramukhaa Kae Mukh Oujalae Gur Sabadhee Beechaar ||
गुरमुखा के मुख उजले गुर सबदी बीचारि ॥
The faces of the Gurmukhs are radiant and bright; they reflect on the Word of the Guru’s Shabad.

ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਦੇ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥
Halath Palath Sukh Paaeidhae Jap Jap Ridhai Muraar ||
हलति पलति सुखु पाइदे जपि जपि रिदै मुरारि ॥
They obtain peace in this world and the next, chanting and meditating within their hearts on the Lord.

ਘਰ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥੨॥
Ghar Hee Vich Mehal Paaeiaa Gur Sabadhee Veechaar ||2||
घर ही विचि महलु पाइआ गुर सबदी वीचारि ॥२॥
Within the home of their own inner being, they obtain the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence, reflecting on the Guru’s Shabad. ||2||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤਜਿ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
Maerae Man Thaj Nindhaa Houmai Ahankaar ||
मेरे मन तजि निंदा हउमै अहंकारु ॥
O my mind, give up slander, egotism and arrogance.

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Jeeo Sadhaa Dhhiaae Thoo Guramukh Eaekankaar ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि जीउ सदा धिआइ तू गुरमुखि एकंकारु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Become Gurmukh, and meditate forever on the Dear Lord, the One and Only Creator. ||1||Pause||

ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲੀਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
Khin Khin Naam Samaaleeai Guramukh Paavai Koe ||
खिनु खिनु नामु समालीऐ गुरमुखि पावै कोइ ॥
Each and every moment, dwell on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; the Gurmukhs obtain it.

ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਅਖੁਟੁ ਹੈ ਵਡਭਾਗਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥
Naam Nidhhaan Akhutt Hai Vaddabhaag Paraapath Hoe ||1||
नामु निधानु अखुटु है वडभागि परापति होइ ॥१॥
The Treasure of the Naam is inexhaustible. By great good fortune, it is obtained. ||1||

ਘਰ ਹੀ ਸਉਦਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਭ ਵਥੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Ghar Hee Soudhaa Paaeeai Anthar Sabh Vathh Hoe ||
घर ही सउदा पाईऐ अंतरि सभ वथु होइ ॥
Within the home of your own inner being, the merchandise is obtained. All commodities are within.
