Birthday Udham Singh
Udham Singh (26 December 1899 – 31 July 1940) was an Indian revolutionary belonging to Ghadar Party and HSRA, best known for assassinating Michael O’Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab in India, on 13 March 1940. The assassination was done in revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919, for which O’Dwyer was responsible. Singh was subsequently tried and convicted of murder and hanged in July 1940. While in custody, he used the name Ram Mohammad Singh Azad, which represents the three major religions of India and his anti-colonial sentiment.
Udham Singh is a well-known figure of the Indian independence movement. He is also referred to as Shaheed-i-Azam Sardar Udham Singh (the expression “Shaheed-i-Azam” means “the great martyr”). A district (Udham Singh Nagar) of Uttarakhand was named after him to pay homage in October 1995 by the Mayawati government.

Panchami lit. the fifth day of either phase (vadior sudi) of the moon. Panchami of the sudi, i.e. the brighter, phase is considered an auspicious day in the Hindu tradition, with some ritualistic observances attached to it. In the three Sikh hymns entitled Thitin/ Thiti devoted to the lunar days of the month, the point commonly made in verses on Panchami is that the people are too engrossed in the worldly pursuits to take to the remembrance of the Divine which alone can bring real joy and bliss.
The Nanakshahi calendar is a tropical solar calendar used in Sikhism. It is based on “barah maha” (Twelve months). Calendar that shows Sikh holidays and festivals according to Sikh culture. Dhansikhii provides all details and quotes related to the Nanakshahi calendar.

Sikh Festival 2022 (Gurpurab 2022) Sikh Festival 2022 in Punjabi according to SGPC.
PURANMASHI, in Sanskrit pumimd, is the day of the full moon, the last day of the moon`s bright phases. The day has sanctity in the Indian tradition and several ceremonial observances such as ritual bathing, fasting, and giving away of charity are associated with it. In the Sikh system, no special significance attaches to the day. Sikh Scripture contains three compositions, all titled Thiti or Thitiri devoted to the lunar days. The one by Guru Nanak recounts the day of the waning moon and thus makes no mention of Purnima.
Purnima is considered very auspicious for new beginnings. The word ‘Purnima’ is a Nepali word that means full moon. Here is a list of all Purnima in 2022 / Puranmashi in2022.
