ਲਾਹਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੨॥
Laahaa Har Har Naam Milai Sehajae Naam Samaae ||2||
लाहा हरि हरि नामु मिलै सहजे नामि समाइ ॥२॥
Earning the Profit of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am intuitively absorbed in the Naam. ||2||

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਮਹਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
Bin Gur Mehal N Paaeeai Naam N Paraapath Hoe ||
बिनु गुर महलु न पाईऐ नामु न परापति होइ ॥
Without the Guru, the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence is not found, and the Naam is not obtained.

ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
Jinee Naam Pashhaaniaa Thin Vittahu Bal Jaao ||
जिनी नामु पछाणिआ तिन विटहु बलि जाउ ॥
I am a sacrifice to those who recognize the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਆਪੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਲਗਾ ਚਲਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਭਾਇ ॥
Aap Shhodd Charanee Lagaa Chalaa Thin Kai Bhaae ||
आपु छोडि चरणी लगा चला तिन कै भाइ ॥
Renouncing selfishness, I fall at their feet, and walk in harmony with His Will.

ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਚਿ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Bhaaee Rae Guramath Saach Rehaao ||
भाई रे गुरमति साचि रहाउ ॥
O Siblings of Destiny, follow the Guru’s Teachings and dwell in truth.

ਸਾਚੋ ਸਾਚੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਮਿਲਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Saacho Saach Kamaavanaa Saachai Sabadh Milaao ||1|| Rehaao ||
साचो साचु कमावणा साचै सबदि मिलाउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Practice truth, and only truth, and merge in the True Word of the Shabad. ||1||Pause||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਲਾਇਅਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Maelaaeian Har Naam Vasiaa Man Aae ||
करि किरपा मेलाइअनु हरि नामु वसिआ मनि आइ ॥
Granting His Grace, God unites us with Himself. The Name of the Lord comes to abide within the mind.

ਪੋਤੈ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਨ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
Pothai Jin Kai Punn Hai Thin Sathasangath Maelaae ||1||
पोतै जिन कै पुंनु है तिन सतसंगति मेलाइ ॥१॥
Those who have the treasure of goodness join the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation. ||1||

सिरीरागु महला ३ ॥
Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਚਉਥਾ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
Thrai Gun Maaeiaa Mohu Hai Guramukh Chouthhaa Padh Paae ||
त्रै गुण माइआ मोहु है गुरमुखि चउथा पदु पाइ ॥
The three qualities hold people in attachment to Maya. The Gurmukh attains the fourth state of higher consciousness.

ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਜਗਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਿ ॥
Maaeiaa Mohi Visaariaa Jagath Pithaa Prathipaal ||
माइआ मोहि विसारिआ जगत पिता प्रतिपालि ॥
In attachment to Maya, they have forgotten the Father, the Cherisher of the World.

ਬਾਝਹੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਚੇਤੁ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਬਧੀ ਜਮਕਾਲਿ ॥
Baajhahu Guroo Achaeth Hai Sabh Badhhee Jamakaal ||
बाझहु गुरू अचेतु है सभ बधी जमकालि ॥
Without the Guru, all are unconscious; they are held in bondage by the Messenger of Death.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਉਬਰੇ ਸਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੪੩॥
Naanak Guramath Oubarae Sachaa Naam Samaal ||4||10||43||
नानक गुरमति उबरे सचा नामु समालि ॥४॥१०॥४३॥
O Nanak, through the Guru’s Teachings, you shall be saved, contemplating the True Name. ||4||10||43||
