ਸਰੈ ਸਰੀਅਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
Sarai Sareeath Karehi Beechaar ||
सरै सरीअति करहि बीचारु ॥
People think of religious laws and regulations.
ਲੋਕ ਮਜ਼ਹਬੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਿਨੁ ਬੂਝੇ ਕੈਸੇ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਪਾਰੁ ॥
Bin Boojhae Kaisae Paavehi Paar ||
बिनु बूझे कैसे पावहि पारु ॥
But without understanding God, how can they swim across?
ਪਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ, ਉਹ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਰਾਂ ਤਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ?
