ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਬੂਡੀ ਦੂਜੈ ਹੇਤਿ ॥
Raam Naam Bin Mukath N Hoee Booddee Dhoojai Haeth ||
राम नाम बिनु मुकति न होई बूडी दूजै हेति ॥
Without the Name of pervading God the World is not emancipated and is drowned because of the love of duality.
ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਡੁਬ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੈ ਪਹਰੈ ਛੂਟਹਿਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿ ॥੧॥
Kahu Naanak Praanee Pehilai Peharai Shhoottehigaa Har Chaeth ||1||
कहु नानक प्राणी पहिलै पहरै छूटहिगा हरि चेति ॥१॥
Says Nanak, O mortal! in the first watch of the night, thou shalt be released by remembering God.
ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਫੁਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੈ ਫਾਨੀ ਬੰਦੇ! ਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੰਦ-ਖਲਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
